About Tentacle Time!

We’re obsessed with cephalopods. Octopuses, squid, cuttlefish, nautiluses — if it has tentacles (or arms, technically — we know the difference), we’re here for it.

Tentacle Time exists because these creatures deserve better merch. They have three hearts, blue blood, the ability to change color in milliseconds, and intelligence that makes scientists question everything they thought they knew about consciousness. 

And yet the best most stores can offer is clip art on a coffee mug.

We wanted to change that.

Every design in our shop is crafted with a mix of vintage scientific illustrations from the golden age of marine biology and original artwork. We love the weird, the wonderful, and the wildly under-appreciated corners of cephalopod taxonomy. (Yes, we have a shirt featuring Tetracirrhus. No, most people haven’t heard of it. That’s the point.)

All items are printed on demand by Printful and shipped directly to you. That means every piece is made to order — less waste, less overproduction, more tentacles in the world. And that’s a good thing.

Our mission:
We want to celebrate cephalopods and the ocean they live in. A portion of proceeds from our Conservation Collection goes directly to ocean conservation efforts, because these incredible creatures need healthy oceans to thrive.
